At the beginning of the quarter, we were asked to create a conference that spoke about a social justice issue we were passionate about. I’ve become more educated and aware of diversity, inclusion, and accessibility, and have been trying to implement it in my design. I wanted to create my conference around the topic of diversity, inclusion, and accessibility within design. Now where people are becoming more aware of racism, ableism, and eurocentrism, we are starting to break out of this mold. With my conference, I want to continue that change and lead to a world with equal opportunity, especially in design.
